Tutorial: Basics emblems for Black Ops

I promised making some kind of tutorial for making emblems based on my experience. I already gave some tips choosing the objet or character, or whatever we want to create.

Let's start for something easy. What about starting with the Facebook logo. We are going to build it without reflections or shadows. Just simple:

I put first in different color so you can see the objets I used. Then, put the right colors and here you are! The final result is:

Of course, the more money you spend on objets the more things you will be able to build.

Let's see another example. The RSS logo, as well without effects:

The final result is this (note the color changes because of the picture I took, with less light):

I'll come back soon to this section with ideas for making some more complex emblems. By the moment, that's all... ;-)

Crown 3D effect

More effects I like. This one is not exact a 3D effect but I don't really know how to describe it. Maybe I should call it Volume effect..., or maybe Depth effect... It doesn't matter, let's just post it and enjoy it.

Angry Birds (the game)

If you have played Angry Birds, the game you may find some similitudes in both of the games. Here we have today a couple of emblems made by different persons, but obviously, very close...

Marvin the Martian (Warner Brothers)

By the tittle maybe you are wondering who is the character but after seeing the picture you recognized him, didn't you? Marvin the Martian is one of those Warner Bros' characters we don't know too much about them, but I found this one particularly funny.

Sniper

I don't use to snipe a lot in Black Ops, only when someone is sniping me too much. Anyway I like the profile and for that, I made an emblem with the shape of a sniper against the moon. I hope you like it:

I was about to call it Howl at the moon, but then I thought it is just a wolf, a cool one, but a wolf...

Ikurriña flag

Don't get me wrong, apart of the meanings this flag could have, it is mainly the flag of the Basque Country, a region in the north of Spain (and for some, extended to the south of France). It is curious that I found not only one, but some of them in the game. The cool thing is that everyone is different and customized... (the original one is the first)

Network disconnected

I'm sure you hate this image as much as me, but we'll agree: the guy who made this emblem probably had a few network disconnections... Servers of Black Ops must improve still.

Some brands are really easy to make as an emblem but, why do we never do them? Someone made the Pepsi logo and I like it:

Eyes

I'm more impressed every day for the quality of the emblems. In this case these eyes are awesome!

Gibson SG

This is the guitar I wanted although finally I got a Yamaha (very cool as well). For that reason my current emblem is this Gibson SG. I like it...
